the Forchbahn, Zürich, Switzerland

A postcard from probably the 1980s of the Forchbahn - a metre-gauge 13.6 km light railway running on 1200 Volts DC which links central Zürich (Zürich Stadelhofen railway station) to the eastern suburbs near Esslingen via Forch.  The maximum gradient is 6.9%. Locals call the train "Tante Frieda" or Aunt Fieda.  Gotta love that cow (or Kuh - rhymes with 'moo')!
