first Polish electric multiple unit, 1936

A set built for the opening of the first electric line (3,000V DC) from Warszawa to Otwock and Pruszków.

According to the NZR Magazine of May 1937: "Ordinary passenger services are maintained by multiple-unit trains, each consisting of one motor car and two trailers. The motor car has four coach-ventilated motors of 200 h.p., 1,500 Volts, two being connected in permanent series. A second driving position is provided on the rear trailer car, this being articulated with the non-driving trailer by a common bogie."  From this, the axle arrangement of a three-car set must have been Bo-Bo + 2-2 + 2
