War Department requisitioned London Bus, WW1

Presumably used for troop transport despite its high profile. Now in a museum in Masterton, NZ. (transpress nz pic)

Does anyone know if this vehicle is a replica or if it actually served in WW1? - Also, any ideas where the bus can be found today?

There are a number of these B-type bus replicas in New Zealand built by Peter Jackson the film producer of Lord of the rings. He is a WWI enthusiast and has also made a BE2 plane replica. I was asked some years ago to send the plans for a B-type London bus to New Zealand for the replicas to be built.
