Santa Cruz, Capitola and Watsonville Railway Co. trolleys, Capitola Beach, California, 1900s

Cars 8 and 14, built by the St Louis Car Company. Service began here in 1903. According to Walter Rice and Emiliano Echeverria in their book Rails of California's Central Coast, "the grandiose corporate title proved to be beyond the scope of economic reality. Watsonville was an impossible goal."
