Spirit of B.C., Vancouver, Canada

An early train set from the 1980s on what is called the SkyTrain urban rail system, which has a network of 69 km in standard gauge using 3rd rail DC and has 3 lines and 47 stations; it uses "fully automated trains on grade-separated tracks, running mostly on elevated guideways, which gives passengers views across the city and helps SkyTrain to hold consistently high on-time reliability." A 10.9 km extension, the Evergreen Line, is planned to be opened in 2016.
