17th century ship replica 'Libava', Latvia

According to the website, construction of the Libava, using traditional technologies that were in use three centuries ago, began in May 2007 at the Varyag shipyard in Petrozavodsk, Russia, and the ship was launched in September 2008.

The Libava was designed after Dutch shallow draft herren yachts, popular among the European aristocracy for pleasure and prestige.  The vessel is operated out of Vikingu iela, near Jurmala.
