FS class E645, Florence, Italy, 1961

Unit 645 006. This was an articulated tribo (Bo-Bo-Bo) type dating from 1958, so this was probably the original livery for the 20 built for passenger traffic; another 17 built for goods trains were painted auburn. More were built later. Power output was 4,320 kW (5,790 hp) at the one hour rating and 3,780 kW (5,070 hp) at the continuous rating.

You wonder when the car behind the locomotive had last seen any maintenance.
