Elbing trams in the old market, Germany, pre-WW1




Like most German cities this old Hansa town was badly damaged at the end of WW2, but some of it has been restored including the tower in the centre background, although not identical to the way it was.  Since 1945 it has been part of Poland, renamed Elblag, see earlier post.
