Refreshment Rooms at Paekakariki station, 1963

This was a train bound for Gisborne, but 40 km from Wellington, this was as far as the Ew electric locomotive could go.  It would shortly be detached, run around to the opposite platform and a steamer attached in its place.  One can't held noticing the Refreshment Rooms sign on the shed, although this was actually in the main station building.
